CIP offers clerical and non-clerical persons the opportunity to learn unadulterated philosophy, and simultaneously imbibe the discipline characteristic of a religious institute. It is affiliated to Urban University Rome and Imo State University, Owerri. "Students" of CIP have the advantage of graduating with a Bachelor of Art (BA) degree from Imo State University Owerri Imo state. However, the institute also offers Bachelor of Philosophy (B. Phil.) degree to students with authentic ecclesiastical belonging.
